Après Gatchaman, le prochain anime à avoir son adaptation en film live sera Hurricane Polymar.

Originellement sorti en 1974, l’histoire nous raconte les aventures de Takeshi Yoroi, un jeune homme capable de se transformer en super-héros du nom de Polymar. Grâce à sa combinaison spéciale, il est aussi capable de se transformer en 5 véhicules différents : un jet, un sous-marin, un tank, une voiture de course et un rouleau compresseur.

Takeshi sera joué par Junpei Mizobata (Hana-Kimi, Détective Conan). Yuki Yamada (GokaiBlue), Mikie Hara (Cutie Honey The Live) et Yurina Yanagi font aussi partie de la distribution. Le film sera écrit par Shinsuke Onishi (Ultraman Cosmos, Daimajin Kanon) et réalisé par Koichi Sakamoto (Power Rangers, Kamen Rider Double The Movie, Ultraman X, etc…).
