Les romans de nos s\u00e9ries pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9es n’ont, \u00e0 quelques exceptions pr\u00eats, \u00e9t\u00e9 que des d\u00e9ceptions continuant sans vraiment continuer les s\u00e9ries ou n’\u00e9tant que des aventures annexes sans r\u00e9elle importance…<\/p>\n

Heureusement, Gaim fait exception et une sacr\u00e9 belle exception !<\/p>\n

Le roman nous raconte l’enfance de Kaito et en extrapolant un peu, nous pourrions y voir l\u00e0 l’origine du sc\u00e9nario de la s\u00e9rie.<\/p>\n

The novels of our favourite series are, with a few rare exceptions, mainly deceptions continuing without really continuing the series or being only extra adventures…<\/em><\/p>\n

Fortunately for us, Gaim is an exception and a damn good one !<\/em><\/p>\n

The novel tells us about Kaito’s childhood and we could see here the origins of the story of the series.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Comme la s\u00e9rie nous l’a racont\u00e9, Kaito vivait avec ses parents dans la petite bourgade de Zawame. Malgr\u00e9 que le travail de son p\u00e8re soit la seule source de revenu de la famille, tout allait bien pour le jeune gar\u00e7on.<\/p>\n

The series told us that Kaito was living with his parents in the little city of Zawame. His father’s job was the only source of income, but everything was fine for the boy.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Jusqu’\u00e0 ce qu’un jour, des gens d’Yggdrasill vinrent \u00e0 s’int\u00e9resser \u00e0 la ville et plus particuli\u00e8rement au quartier dans lequel vivait la famille Kumon. Ils eurent vite fait de dominer la ville et de racheter le quartier pour le raser et y construire l’Yggdrasill Tower.<\/p>\n

\n

Until one day, people from Yggdrasill had an interest in the city and more particularly in the neibourhood the Kumon family lived. They quickly dominated the city and soon bought everything to build the Yggdrasill Tower.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Se retrouvant sans revenus du jour au lendemain, les parents Kumon n’avaient pas d’autre choix que d’abandonner leur fils et de le confier \u00e0 un orphelinat \u00ab\u00a0pour son propre bien\u00a0\u00bb. Ce fut la derni\u00e8re fois que Kaito voyait ses parents.<\/p>\n

Heureusement pour le gar\u00e7on, l’orphelinat se trouvait pr\u00eat du temple Takatsukasa et d’un arbre sacr\u00e9. Ce m\u00eame arbre qui int\u00e9ressait tellement Yggrdrasill et qui les for\u00e7a \u00e0 s’installer \u00e0 Zawame.<\/p>\n

Kaito aimait venir espionner Mai, la petite pr\u00eatresse qui dansait pour prier les Dieux. Ils se parl\u00e8rent plusieurs fois mais Kaito d\u00e9clinait toujours ses invitations \u00e0 danser parce qu’il \u00e9tait trop timide. Mais ces rencontres donnaient la force \u00e0 Kaito d’aller de l’avant.<\/p>\n

\n

Being suddenly without source of income, the Kumon family was forced to abandon their son in an orphanage \u00ab\u00a0for his own good\u00a0\u00bb. It was the last time Kaito saw his parents.<\/em><\/p>\n

Fortunately for the boy, the orphanage was near the Takatsukasa shrine and a sacred tree. This very same tree Yggdrasill was so interested in and forced them to overcome Zawame.<\/em><\/p>\n

Kaito liked to spy on Mai, the young priestess who danced to prey the Gods. They spoke several times but Kaito always declined her invitations to dance with her because he was shy. But these encounters gave the strength to Kaito to move on.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

–<\/span><\/p>\n

Refusant l’adoption dans l’espoir que ses parents reviennent le chercher, il resta \u00e0 l’orphelinat jusqu’\u00e0 ses 16 ans.<\/p>\n

C’est pendant ses \u00e9tudes au lyc\u00e9e de Zawame qu’il rencontrera Kota pour la premi\u00e8re fois. Les deux gar\u00e7ons se sont percut\u00e9s par inadvertance dans un couloir et Kota s’est excus\u00e9. Kaito pensa alors qu’il \u00e9tait faible.<\/p>\n

Refusing adoption in the hope his parents would come back for him, he stayed at the orphanage until his 16th birthday.<\/em><\/p>\n

During his studies at Zawame High School, he met Kota for the first time. The two young men bumped into each other in a corridor and Kota appologied. Kaito thought he was weak for doing so.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Kaito entendu ensuite dire que le temple Takatsukasa avait \u00e9t\u00e9 rachet\u00e9 par Yggdrasill et que l’arbre sacr\u00e9 avait disparu. Profond\u00e9ment choqu\u00e9 et attrist\u00e9 par cette nouvelle, Kaito d\u00e9cide de monter une \u00e9quipe de danseurs en hommage \u00e0 l’arbre et \u00e0 la petite pr\u00eatresse. La premi\u00e8re Team de Beat Riders \u00e9tait n\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

Dansant dans la p\u00e9riph\u00e9rie de Zawame, la r\u00e9putation de la Team Baron fut vite le tour de la ville. D’autres jeunes trouv\u00e8rent le concept excellent et cr\u00e9\u00e8rent leur propre Team de Beat Riders comme la Team Severe Beat et la Team Gaim. La comp\u00e9tition commen\u00e7a…<\/p>\n

\n

Kaito then heard that the Takatsukasa shrine was bought by Yggdrasill and that the sacred tree was gone. Deeply shocked and saddened by this news, Kaito decided to create a danse team to honour the tree and the little priestess. The first Team of Beat Riders was born.<\/em><\/p>\n

Dancing around Zawame, the reputation of Team Baron quickly escalated. Other young people thought it was a brilliant idea and created their own Team of Beat Riders like Team Severe Beat and Team Gaim. The competition started…<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

–<\/span><\/p>\n

Eux aussi trouvant ce concept excellent, mais pour des raisons diff\u00e9rentes, les hauts grad\u00e9s d’Yggdrasill firent construire des sc\u00e8ne \u00e0 l’int\u00e9rieur m\u00eame de Zawame pour que les jeunes puissent exprimer leur talent. Mais le jeu allait prendre une autre tournure quand un certain Sid entra en contact avec Kaito et les leaders des autres Teams pour leur proposer de pimenter un peu la comp\u00e9tition avec de myst\u00e9rieux cadenas…<\/p>\n

\n

Finding this idea very interesting too, but for different reasons, the higher ups of Yggdrasill built stages for these youth to express their talents. But the game is about to change when a certain Sid approches Kaito and the other leaders to shake things up with some mysterious locks…<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

La Team Baron battit \u00e0 plates coutures la Team Severe Beat et Zack, un simple membre de Severe Beat, changea d’\u00e9quipe pour se retrouver chez les meilleurs et devint ami avec Kaito.<\/p>\n

Peko, camarade de classe de Mai et Kota, f\u00fbt invit\u00e9 \u00e0 rejoindre Gaim mais lui aussi refusa parce qu’il voulait \u00eatre chez les meilleurs.<\/p>\n

La suite, vous la connaissez…<\/p>\n

Team Baron completely took down Team Severe Beat and Zack, a member of this Team, changed allegiance to be with the best and became friend with Kaito.<\/em><\/p>\n

Peko, a high school friend of Mai and Kota, was invited to join Team Gaim but also refused to go with the best.<\/em><\/p>\n

You know what happened next…<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
